Chater Allan is an accounting firm with long-established roots in Cambridge. Over the years the firm has built up an extensive portfolio of clients in the commercial and academic sectors, as well as acting for many private individuals. The city is internationally renowned for its unique mix of global companies and smaller start-ups working in partnership with the University, resulting in a dynamic environment in which businesses thrive and individuals prosper.
Chater Allan was formed in 1995, from the merger of two firms of Cambridge accountants: Chaters which dates back to the 1870’s and Hays Allan back to 1919. The firm became a limited liability partnership in 2003.
Today the firm has five partners and 21 staff providing a wide range of services including audit and assurance, taxation, management accounting and financial advice to owner-managed businesses, charities and personal clients. It is located in Newmarket Road, Cambridge.
Registered as auditors and regulated for a range of investment business activities by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
